About Me

My name is Stephanie Berrios

I've been a gymgoer since August 2018, a Certified Personal Trainer since August 2020, and a Holistic Lifestyle Specialist since August 2023. I have always been active and enjoyed leadership in the fitness realm as I was captain for both softball and volleyball varsity teams in high school. But, I always felt insecure in the way I looked, performed, and how I felt overall. I've always struggled with anxiety due to a stuttering disorder I've always had since a child, which just made things worse. After a few months in the gym, I felt my anxiety slowly drift away and confidence take its place. I felt strong, confident, capable, beautiful and so much more. Ever since then, I've always wanted to help other women feel the beneficial impact fitness has had on me mentally, physically, and emotionally.

“When I first started training with Stephanie, I wasn’t too sure of my fitness goals but I did know I felt insecure, and weak I also knew I lacked the knowledge to progress so I took a leap of faith and started training.

 

Stephanie helped guide me through my journey and sort out the why, and the how. Our training was brief but I learned an extraordinary amount, I took what she taught me and stayed consistent, with that came wanting to eat better and slowly I started feel amazing. 

 

I never thought I could be so happy and confident with the way I look and where I am in the gym.

Before working with Steph I faced many struggles in and outside of the gym such as never having the right discipline to keep going to the gym, feeling like my form was never correct and I didn’t really know what exercises I should be doing to achieve the physique I wanted, and my confidence was super low and I never really felt my best and that resulted in a lot of insecurities within myself.

After working with Steph I can honestly say she’s changed my life for the better. Not only has she helped me so much in the gym with the exercises I should do and how my form should look. She also helped me outside of the gym with the check in calls I feel like we’re able to talk about my biggest struggles and how slowly I can work on bettering that. She’s helped me a lot in bettering my eating habits and helping me understand my struggles.

Stephanie is an excellent trainer. She has really motivated me to conquer my fears of working out at the gym and made me feel like I belong at the gym. Me being very overweight and a beginner with working out, she understands that if an exercise is too difficult to do, she will modify the movement until I am able to do the harder version of that exercise. 

 

In the beginning, I was afraid and wasn’t able to do burpees and box jumps. Now I am able to do burpees, jump rope for longer than 10 minutes and do a box jump on a 18 inch box. I’m more conscious about what I eat. She gives great suggestions about my nutrition with the meal portions and my sleeping patterns. She gives great insight ton what time of the day I should be eating. It has changed my life for the better.

“Before working with Stephanie, I was really insecure and honestly scared to even get started. I’d work out for a week, do great, then fall off because I didn’t have the discipline or motivation. I had an all-or-nothing mindset if I didn’t see fast results, I would quit and do nothing.

 

 

Working with Stephanie has given me a whole new confidence. I actually like looking in the mirror now, and I put more effort into myself inside and out. I love how strong I’ve gotten—not only can I feel it, I can see it. The discipline and patience I have now is something I never thought I’d develop, and I truly couldn’t have done it without Steph.

 

 

Virtual training is soooo much better for me than in-person. It fits my schedule perfectly I can work, go to school, and still show up for my workouts. I 100% feel cared for and prioritized.  This whole experience has given me the confidence to walk into a gym knowing exactly what I’m doing“

“Some of my struggles with getting back in shape was my eating habits, working out wrong and getting badly hurt or injured. When I was younger, I would work out with no form and not knowing right and wrong and always had back pain after

 

Some of my goals was to develop my upper body strength which was always difficult for me. Now I can honestly say I see how much stronger my arms are thanks to Steph

Steph is very supportive and encouraging as a coach. Taking my time to get the form and take a short break between sets definitely made it more fun, easier and less pressure

Jennifer Berrios

“I could barely bend down to pick up stuff without feeling tight/pain in my hamstrings; my stamina was lower (could not run for much longer without losing breath) I was depressed a lot, mood swings, had a lot of anger inside. I did not care much about my body/appearance. I was not nearly as strong. 

 

The goals I achieved - a flatter stomach! My booty has lifted and no longer looks flat! I am confident going out and wearing nice outfits. I can bend down to pick things up without straining. I no longer feel tight. I’m more energized than ever. I have happier moods/motivation to hit the gym on my own.

 

Virtual training really helped! More than I thought! It felt like you were really with me and even if you were just on the phone, I felt more confident in the gym
